How the site is built
- Every control can be reached and used with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- A link at the top of each page skips to the main content.
- Pages are built from headings, landmarks, lists and tables that a screen reader can navigate.
- Text and control edges meet the contrast the standard requires, in the light and the dark theme.
- Colour is never the only signal: a status is always a word, and the current place is also set in bold.
- Dialogs keep focus inside them, close with Escape and return focus to the button that opened them.
- The result of an action is announced to assistive technology.
- Motion stops when the device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages reflow to a 320 pixel width without horizontal scrolling, and text can be enlarged to 200%.
- Charts in the demos are paired with the same figures as text.
Known limitations
- The site has not yet been tested with assistive technology or audited independently.
- Links in a demo that open another site lead to pages whose accessibility 'beehta.com' does not control.
